Aloha Volunteers,
Thank you to those who volunteered and supported the community service beautification project at the YWCA in Honolulu on April 21st. The event was very successful and it was especially good to see new faces as well as all the volunteers who have repeatedly come out to support the CMAA community service effort in Hawaii.
The event was held at 1040 Richards St. in Honolulu. This historic building was built in 1924 and designed by the first woman architect in Hawaii. Volunteers provided painting services, landscape preparation, planting and cleaning.
The YWCA provides special programs and educational opportunities for young women in the area and is open to the public.
Mahalo to Frank Parker for organizing the event.
