IMG_5856.JPG

Volunteers from CMAA, AACE and friends

On December 3rd CMAA/AACE sponsored a joint community service beach cleanup event at Kahana Bay Beach Park. The event was a huge success with a very good turnout including volunteers from CMAA, AACE and friends. It was a good opportunity to meet with old friends and become acquainted with new ones. Items collected included plastic, cans, bottles, plastic crate, starter motor, broken rocking chair and many misc. items. The event was followed with a BBQ and casual socializing. A good time was had by all. Cleanup areas included beach and park areas, shoreline, and parking lot. Over two hundred pounds of trash was collected for disposal.

Mahalo to all that participated and helped to plan and facilitate the event.
